Durkopp 239-125 / Durkopp Adler

I did a slightly major overhaul on this model of machine, he showed some of that work in the given pictures, and I will write some characteristics of this sewing machine:

Durkopp 239-125 is an industrial sewing machine with triple transport. It is mainly intended for sewing heavier materials: genuine leather, faux leather, eco leather, thicker fabric, furniture fabric, materials for bags, tendes, upholstery ...etc.

Na ovom modelu mašine sam radio jedan malo veći remont, nešto od tog posla je prikazao na datim slikama a ja ću da napišem neke karekteristike ove šivaće mašine: Durkopp 239-125 je industrijska šivaca mašina sa trostrukim transportom. Uglavnom je namijenjena za šivenje težih materijala: prava koža, skaj, eko koža, deblji štof, mebl štof, materijali za torbe,t ende, za tapetare... itd.

Durkop 239-215 has a rotating, horizontally placed thread catcher, the classic bobbin case does not have, but the spool is inserted directly into the housing of the grapple and is secured with a "switch", see picture. This model can use different thread thicknesses (20, 30, 40), it all depends on what is sewn, the thickness of the inserted needle is also different from 100 onwards, the optimal needle for Durkop 239-125 is about 120. All bearings on the "head" of the machine are sliding and lubrication is done using access points-holes marked in red, no central lubrication, the inner timing belt is made of special fibers with metal rings, there has already been "talk" about this topic (see archive ).

Durkop 239-215 posjeduje rotacioni, horizontalno postavljen grajfer, klasični čunak ne posjeduje, vec se bobina-špulna ubacuje direktno u kucište grajfera te se osigurava jednim "preklopnikom", vidi sliku. Ovaj model može koristiti različite debljine konca (20, 30, 40), sve zavisi šta se šije, debljina postavljene igle isto tako je različita od 100 pa na dalje, optimalna igla za Durkop 239-125 je oko 120. Svi ležajevi na "glavi" mašine su klizni a podmazivanje se vrši pomocu pristupnih tačaka-rupica označenih crvenom bojom, nema centralno podmazivanje, unutrašnji zupčasti remen je izrađen od speciajlnih vlakana sa metalnim prstenovima, o ovoj temi je vec bilo "govora" (pogledaj arhivu).

This model is equipped with a single-phase motor and a starting capacitor placed in a box with a switch, the interesting thing about this motor is that the motor / clutch-brake assembly is disassembled, ie the parts of the brake-clutch-flywheel assembly are completely visible, also the motor has several lubrication access points, which is pretty good. The transmission of torque from the motor to the "head" of the machine is solved by a classic V-belt, the motor pulley can be replaced with a smaller one if necessary if someone wants slower needle work or slower sewing (recommended for beginners and when sewing leather)

The spool is wound with a winder placed on a work table, the spool is standard with a smaller diameter (smaller spool of thicker thread), the spool is started by means of a belt and when winding the spool it is obligatory to raise the foot or wind it during sewing. The desk is classic with the possibility of minor adjustments, on the desk on the left is a drawer to accommodate the necessary accessories. The entire work table is on rubber "pads" that prevent the transmission of vibrations to the floor where the machine is placed ...

Ovaj model je opremljen monofaznim motorom i startnim kondenzatorom koji je smješten u kutiju sa prekidačem, zanimljivost kod ovog motora je u tome što je sklop motor/kvačilo-kočnica rastavljen, odnosno dijelovi sklopa kočnica-kvačilo-zamajac su potpuno vidljivi, takodje motor ima nekoliko pristupnih tačaka za podmazivanje, što je dosta dobro. Prenos obrtnog momenta sa motora na "glavu" mašine je riješen klasicnim klinastim remenom, remenica motora se može po potrebi zamijeniti manjom ako neko želi sporiji rad igle odnosno sporije šivanje (preporučljivo početnicima i kod šivanja kože) Namotavanje bobine se vrši motalicom koja je postavljena na radni stol, bobina je standardna manjeg prečnika (manje namotavanje debljeg konca), motalica se pokrecće pomocću remena a pri namotavanju bobine obavezno podići stopicu ili namotavati u toku rada. Radni stol je klasičan sa mogućnošcu manjeg podešavanja, na radnom stolu sa lijeve strane je ladica za smještaj potrebnog pribora. Čitav radni stol je na gumenim "jastučićima" koji sprecavaju prenos vibracija na pod gdje je postavljena mašina...
