Pfaff-Nähmaschine 1011,1014,1015,1019,1035,1037 Wartung und Schmierung; pfaff tipmatic 6112,
Lubrication of sewing machines is basically a job during their maintenance, here we are talking about classic mechanical home sewing machines, mechanical in the sense that only the drive of the machine is electric, everything else is pure mechanics. The topic of lubrication has been "dragged" on the site many times, basic maintenance has been "processed" for a long time, and you can read about it HERE. but, a lot of visitors are wondering what to do with machines that do not have access points for lubrication, are closed on all sides and even maybe,
I don't know ...
I have already said about it in several posts that in my opinion it is pure nonsense, there is no fat, oil, fat that will last 25, 30 or more years, maybe they are made to work while they can and then to waste, I say ..
Since the situation in Southeast Europe is a little different, we just don't give up our things, especially not our sewing machines. Pfaff 1000 series sewing machines, which include: Pfaff 1011, 1014, 1015, 1019, 1029, 1035, 1037..maybe there is another model, but it doesn't matter, from the maintenance of these machines, according to the instructions, only the needle plate is removed, dust around hook thread and under the tile and occasionally a few drops of oil in the rotation hook, nothing else.?
Šivaće mašine Pfaff serije 1000 u koje spadaju: Pfaff 1011, 1014, 1015, 1019, 1029, 1035, 1037..možda ima još koji model ali nebitno, od svog odžavanja ovih mašina po uputstvu predviđeno je samo skidanje ubodne pločice, čišćenje prašine oko grajfera i ispod pločice i povremeno par kapi ulja u grajfer, drugo ništa.?All the above models of sewing machines are structurally almost identical except for the programmer, the initial series 1011 has the least programs and 1037 has the most, which means that the removal of individual covers is identical, attached images pfaff 1037 but also for other models "1000 series "the process is identical, so let's finally start :) Picture one, the yellow arrows show the locations of the access screws that need to be unscrewed, there are 4 pieces to remove the top cover and it needs to be unscrewed, unscrewed screws decided to the side, in the same image the blue arrow is on the needle plate to be removed, remove the needle, remove and...
Svi gore nabrojani modeli su konstrukcijski gotovo identični osim programatora, početna serija 1011 je sa najmanje programa a 1037 je sa najviše, to znači da je skidanje pojedinih poklopaca identično, u prilogu su slike pfaff 1037 ali je i za druge modele "serije 1000"proces identičan, pa da krenemo konačno :) Slika prva, žute strelice pokazuju mjesta pristupnih vijaka koje treba odviti, za skidanje gornjeg dijel ih ima 4 komada i to treba odvrnuti, odvrnute šarafiće odločiti na stranu,na istoj slici plava strelica je na ubodnoj pločici koju isto treba skinuti, ukloniti i iglu, skinuti i....foot, remove the cone with the bobbin and dust it all off and clean it thoroughly.
The second picture, removing the cover, is not something complicated, it can happen that it is a little jagged in some place, but a slight left-right shift and it is taken off (the machine is already arranged in the pictures and don't confuse you). After removing the top cover, it is necessary to remove the metal side cover, picture three, screw marked with a yellow arrow, in the same picture we see a blue arrow, wipe the place in detail with a cotton cloth, remove any old traces of any grease and then apply a little...
grease, otherwise this part serves to relieve the tensioner when lifting the foot. We removed both covers and now we have the upper part of the machine completely free, we go to the lower part and in the end I will detail a bit about lubrication. Figure 5-a, laid machine on a piece of cardboard and yellow arrows show access to the screws for removing the lower bearing "plate", these are 4 slightly stronger screws and if they are never removed they can be slightly harder to bend, a stronger screwdriver is needed. We also removed the lower support plate, picture six, black arrows show two access screws for removing the plastic cover, it's quite simple, put all the screws aside in a box and go to work :)
The picture, which was :), seventh, black arrows mark the positions that must be cleaned, there may be a trace of some grease on the gear, who knows when, which turns into something like "chewing gum", carefully remove it and then apply fresh grease, preferably synthetic, move the feed dog on / off switch left and right and apply fresh grease to the camshaft as well. Dust the catcher thoroughly and lubricate with oil, a little, not too much unnecessarily. Figure eight, blue arrows show parts of the programmer that need to be cleaned and applied fresh synthetic grease and yellow arrows where oil should be used, there are more places, not shown in the picture, wherever you see old paint grease, which is usually dry and useless, remove it and lubricate with new grease. Do not apply any grease to the toothed belt, only a dry cotton cloth, if necessary clean it.
To return to the upper part of the machine, remove the bulb, if you mind, and clean everything behind it, bring the sliding surfaces to shine and then lubrication, the main shaft sliding bearings do not have access to lubrication, so the machine must be placed vertically, in add oil near the bearing and start the machine slightly so that the oil enters the bearing, if it remains only outside, there is no use of this lubrication. These machine models are well designed when it comes to power supply so that the risk of electric shock is minimized, but still CAUTION.
The foot bar, the needle bar, the movable needle holder, all this needs to be lubricated, the "braver" and already solid masters need to build it all, clean each sliding bearing, apply fresh sewing machine oil and put it back. Another thing would be very useful and that is to remove the main pulley, unfortunately I do not have these pictures, it is necessary to unscrew the central plastic screw and remove the pulley, clean the shaft and pulley, apply fresh grease or mix oil and grease to get a great lubricating structure. You can also fix the winder a little, dust it, add a drop - two oils ... etc. When finished, put the covers and other elements back and screw them on, that would be it, for any questions, I am at your disposal ☺
Imam Pfaff 1047 masinu koja steka sa radom. Radi radi i onda zastane, kada pomerim onaj kolut, ona nastavi.
Što niste pitali prodavača, neka vam on objasni do u detalje.
