It is a slightly older model of Pfaff sewing machines for home use with a sleeve platform.

We will touch a little on this term "sleeve machine", the picture shows a part of the machine that is free on all sides and you can easily put a sleeve, sock, cuff or any part of the garment that is difficult to access on a machine with a regular flat platform, if someone has a small sewing area, there is an additional platform that is easy to install.

Radi se o nešto starijem modelu Pfaff šivaće masine za kućnu upotrebu sa rukavnom platformom.

Malo će mo se dotaći ovog termina "rukavna mašina", na slici se vidi dio mašine koji je slobodan sa svih strana i na njega se može jednostavno navući rukav, nogavica, manžetnu ili bilo koji dio odjevnog predmeta kojemu je teško prići na mašini sa običnom ravnom platformom, ako je nekome mala površina za šivenje postoji i dodatna platforma koja se jednostavno postavlja.

In Fig. "1" the letters "V" indicate the two screws that hold the cover on the sleeve platform, when cleaning and lubricating, freely unscrew them and remove the cover.

Pfaff  209, osim klasičnog ravnog štepa, može da šiva i"cik/cak" kao i da izrađuje rupice za dugmad, svakako uz adekvatnu stopicu, detaljnije o šivenju rupica pričitaj OVDE Na Sl."1" su slovima "V"oznacena dva vijka koja drže poklopac na rukavnoj platformi, prilikom cišcenja i podmazivanja slobodno ih izvijte i skinite poklopac.

After removing the cover, remove the presser foot from the machine and open the cover to access the grapple-hook, remove the bobbin case with the coil and move the positions marked with white arrows to the left and right side Fig.1, after that remove the front grapple holder Fig.2, then remove grapple-hook where a red triangle is visible which shows in which position the grapple should be returned, then with the help of a screwdriver we unscrew the eyelids marked with yellow arrows that have springs on them, which in some way mitigate any shocks in the grapple area and finally,

Poslije skidanja poklopca skinuti stopicu sa masine i otvoriti poklopac kojim se pristupa grajferu, izvaditi cunak sa kalemom-bobinom i pozicije oznacene bijelim strelicama pomaknuti na lijevu,odnosno desnu stranu Sl.1, poslije te radnje skinuti prednji držac grajfera Sl.2, zatim skidamo grajfer gdje se vidi crveni trokutic koji pokazuje u kojoj poziciji treba vratiti grajfer natrag, zatim pomocu izvijaca odvijemo žutim strelicama oznacene vijeke koji na sebi imaju opruge, koje na neki nacin ublažavaju eventualne udare u predjelu grajfera i na kraju,

Sl.5 prikazuje sve skinute dijelove, vijci sa navucenim oprugama "Op". Sledeće što treba uraditi je detaljno sve očistiti, standardna procedura, pamučna krpica, četkica, eventualno komprimirani zrak, sve klizne i pokretne tačke podmazati adekvatnim uljem za sivaće mašine,dovoljno je par kapi na svaki dio (ne pretjerivati bez potrebe). Nažalost, dio slika na ovom postu je trajno izbrisan!
