a machine with about 40 basic stitches, with the possibility of combining them with memorizing the program of your choice. The construction of the machine is robust, the machine is completely metal, except for the side and rear larger covers, which are plastic. The sewing is maximally simplified and it is not particularly complicated at all, in fact, it is easier to select a program than on classic machines, just a light press on the micro switch and a new program is set, the program that is in function is marked with a light (LED).


In the pictures, individual positions are marked, so let's see what they are used for:

Special table marked with numbers: 1 -foot, 2 -needle positioner (inside or outside the material) 3 -slow or faster machine operation, 4 -constant sewing backwards, 5 -start and end of selected programs when storing, 6 -inverted stitch appearance (mirror ), 7 -holes for buttons, 8-9 -regulator stretch and decorative stitches, 10 -memory and 11 -deleting memory.

Maintenance at Bernine 1080 comes down to cleaning and lubricating the shuttle hook and the part under the needle plate. Remove the needle plate as follows, remove the needle and presser foot, remove the shuttle and bobbin, lift the front end of the plate and push it back. Occasionally add a few drops of oil to the shuttle hook, do not overdo it unnecessarily. For internal lubrication of the machine, it is necessary to remove the complete back and side cover, it is not complicated, if necessary, we will explain it like anything else through questions and comments...

    Može li se bernina 1080 podmazivati kroz dio gdje je"skakavac",vidi se kroz prorez iglenjača?

  2. Znam na što mislite,naravno da može,možete na pumpicu sa uljem dodati i neki produžetak tanke cjevčice da imate bolji pristup,po nekoliko kapi sa gornje strane bit će sasvim dovoljno.
    Na trećoj slici možete skinuti i poklopac,odvidi vijke V1/V2 i podmazati pokretač grajfera a samu osovinicu grajfera sa prednje strane na mjestu centralnog priteznog vijka.
